In this situation, please immediately go to the emergency room or to a primary care physician, as the symptoms described (sore throat, shortness of breath, chest tightness) suggest a severe allergic reaction, e.g. angioedema associated with an ACE inhibitor such as perindopril, which requires immediate medical evaluation.
Do not take further doses of Triplixam until you have contacted your doctor. This drug should not be replaced by another preparation on its own, as it contains three active substances, and the choice of alternative depends on tolerance and comorbidities. Your doctor will decide which ingredient was causing the reaction and choose a safe replacement treatment.
