I accidentally stuck Evra on my calf and the bleeding occurred after 13 days - what should I do?

Howdy! I started Evra patch 2 weeks ago. only k the second week I mistakenly placed the patch on the calf (the first was on the arm) I got the period on the 13th day.. It seems k didn't work. What do I do? Do I wait for the next cycle and start over?

The Evra patch has been applied in a place not recommended by the manufacturer of the drug. It is difficult to assess the effectiveness of contraception in the situation described. It seems that the occurrence of bleeding may indicate a disorder of Evra's function, and in such a situation it is best to wait until the next menstrual period and start using the patches again. In this case, you should use another protection during intercourse (e.g. a condom).
