At 5 weeks of pregnancy, the use of Desamigre or Ketonal is not recommended unless your doctor carefully weighs the benefit-risk balance as there is insufficient data to support the safety of this medicine during pregnancy. Ketonal (ketoprofen) in the first 6 months of pregnancy should also only be used when absolutely necessary and under the strict supervision of a doctor, due to the risk of complications.
In the case of mild to moderate pain during pregnancy, non-pharmacological methods and drugs with a safer profile, such as paracetamol, are recommended. It is always a good idea to consult your doctor before using painkillers during pregnancy.
