Fibraxine and diabetes
This supplement contains both maltodextrin and acesulfame K. So can it be taken by people with diabetes, apart from the fact that acesulfame K does not have a good effect on the microbiome, and supposedly it is supposed to be used to enrich the flora. I don't know if I can use it, the gastrologist, after drawing my attention to the composition, also had doubts. Why does this supplement have such a good PR if it contains 2 unnecessary additives.

Maltodextrin comes in two forms: ordinary and resistant to certain digestive enzymes. This difference means that - in terms of the effect on the body - we have two different substances. Common maltodextrin has a high glycemic index and is rapidly broken down, resistant - passes to the large intestine, where it acts as a prebiotic and improves the functions of the digestive tract. It is worth noting that the manufacturer allows the use of the preparation in diabetics.
Studies on the effects of both acesulfame K and maltodextrin on the gut microbiome have been conducted in animal models or in vitro at higher doses than approved for consumption. The issue requires further research in the context of the long-term use of these substances in authorised products. Studies to date have found both substances to be safe within the limits of use at certain doses.
The product contains soluble fibre, which is better tolerated by most patients than standard fibre preparations that require significant amounts of water.
