Telexer is an anticoagulant medicine that contains dabigatran. Kidney side effects include only genitourinary haemorrhage, including haematuria, which is described as common or uncommon depending on the indication. Please note that not every patient will experience side effects.
This drug does not affect kidney function, but kidney efficiency is crucial for its excretion from the body. Evaluation of renal function is recommended before initiating use, especially in elderly patients (>75 years of age) who have relatively common renal impairment. In the case of moderate disorders (creatinine clearance 30-50 mL/minute), a reduction in the dose of the drug is recommended, while if the renal impairment is severe (creatinine clearance <30 mL/minute), the drug is contraindicated. A contraindication is also eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate) < 50 mL/minute/1.73 m^2 in children and adolescents.
Telexer is a prescription drug, the legitimacy and safety of its use in your case should be assessed by a doctor, who will order appropriate tests if necessary. I encourage you to consult me. You can arrange an online teleconsultation here:
