You should not discontinue the preparations you are using on your own, without the knowledge of your doctor. If the doctor orders the discontinuation of a particular drug, you should follow the doctor's recommendations and discontinue the preparation exactly as indicated by the doctor.
Adverse reactions of levetiracetam include mental disorders such as depression, hostility/aggressiveness, anxiety, insomnia, nervousness/irritability in ≥ 1/100 to < 1/10 patients. These are actions that may or may not occur in all patients using the drug. Some of the side effects of drugs appear only at the beginning of therapy, and their severity decreases with the duration of the therapy.
