Can Pyler capsules be opened and can the probiotic Lactobacillus reuteri be used at the same time during the treatment?
hello can I open the Pylera capsules because I can't swallow them whole. I have read that they should not be opened but I would like to know why? Can the contents damage the esophagus? Or is the effect of the drug diminished? please also tell me if I can take Lactobacillus reuteri at the same time and in what quantity during the treatment with Pylera

Pyler capsules should not be opened or chewed, as their contents may irritate the esophagus and stomach, and this further reduces the effectiveness of the eradication treatment of Helicobacter pylori. If the problem with swallowing is severe, it is worth talking to your doctor about a possible change in the therapy regimen.
The probiotic from Lactobacillus reuteri can be used in parallel, preferably a few hours apart from the antibiotic, to reduce the risk of diarrhea and support the intestinal flora. Doses of the probiotic should be in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer of the preparation.
