Bonondol (buprenorphine) acts mainly on opioid receptors, and its effectiveness depends on the location and type of pain.
If the pain occurs in an area other than the spine, it may have a different cause or mechanism, so that a dose of 0.4 mg may be insufficient or inappropriate to relieve this pain. Since you have blockages on your spine, pain in this area is well controlled, while other pain may have a different mechanism, such as tension or neuropathy, for which opioids are not always effective.
