Why is my heel still numb even though the spur is gone?
A year has passed since three injections into the fifth. According to the picture, the spur is no longer there, but the heel is still numb.

Numbness in the heel after the spur has cleared may indicate nerve irritation or damage that has not resolved despite treatment. Sometimes chronic inflammation or the injection procedure itself can affect the innervation in the heel area.
It is worth consulting a neurologist or orthopedist for further diagnostics, e.g. nerve conduction testing. Neurological symptoms should be controlled to prevent permanent changes.
