Can I replace Vibin mini with Vibin and how to do it?
12.99 zł

In the pharmacy, instead of vibin mini tablets, I got vibin tablets. Can I safely change my tablets and use Vibin? If I skip the placebo pills in Vibin mini and start using Vibin, will the protection against pregnancy be maintained?

Vibin and Vibin mini tablets differ in composition (Vibin mini contains less ethinyl estradiol). If the change is due to your doctor's advice, you should start Vibin tablets the day after you have taken your last active Vibin mini tablet or after you have stopped taking placebo. In such a situation, contraceptive protection is maintained:

"A woman should start taking Vibin the day after taking the last active pill of the previous combined contraceptive, but no later than the day after the end of the break or after taking the placebo tablets of the previous combined contraceptive."

If you have received new tablets by mistake, I encourage you to consult the pharmacist who filled the prescription (or the doctor who prescribed other tablets).

In case of any doubts, I encourage you to consult a gynaecologist - on our website it is possible to book a teleconsultation:
