Is diarrhoea a common symptom of taking Entresto, especially at higher doses?

Entresto is a medicine used to treat chronic heart failure, the dose of which is usually started at 24 mg/26 mg or 49 mg/51 mg twice a day and then increased to a target dose of 97 mg/103 mg twice a day, depending on the patient's tolerance.

Diarrhoea is not the most commonly mentioned side effect of Entresto, however, some patients may experience a variety of gastrointestinal symptoms. If diarrhea already occurs at a medium or high dose, it is worth consulting a doctor, who may consider adjusting the dose or changing the treatment to improve the patient's comfort and avoid dehydration or other complications. Treatment should not be stopped without consultation, as the dose of Entresto should be adjusted by the doctor based on the patient's response and medical condition.
