Do I need to increase my Mounjaro dosage from 5mg to 7.5mg after 4 weeks if 5mg suits me?

If the 5 mg dose of Mounjaro is appropriate and well tolerated for you, it is not necessary to increase it without consulting your doctor.

Treatment usually starts with 2.5 mg for 4 weeks, then the dose is increased to 5 mg. A further increase to 7.5 mg or higher doses is only possible after at least 4 weeks of 5 mg and only if your doctor deems it necessary for the therapeutic purposes and tolerability of the drug. Do not change the dose yourself and consult your doctor to assess whether an increase in the dose is appropriate in your case.
