Wegovy (semaglutide) may cause gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea and vomiting, especially at the beginning of treatment or after dose increase. Fever is not a typical side effect and can indicate an infection or other reaction from the body. In the event of persistent symptoms or deterioration of well-being, I encourage you to contact your doctor – it may be necessary to modify your treatment or diagnose other causes.
