According to the manufacturer's recommendations, the recommended oral dose for the treatment of influenza is one tablet twice a day for 5 days. For prophylaxis, after exposure to the virus, the recommended dose is 1 tablet once a day for 10 days. If you are talking about flu treatment and your doctor has recommended dosing the drug twice a day, you should stick to his recommendations for the therapy to be effective. Vomiting, abdominal pain or nausea can be both a side effect of the drug and flu symptoms, especially in children. To help reduce the discomfort, if they are related to the drug, you can administer the drug after eating a meal (food does not affect the absorption of the drug). If this does not help, it is worth consulting the situation with a doctor, who may recommend a different therapeutic procedure.
