Does changing the Evra patch in the evening instead of in the morning affect the effectiveness of contraception?
Good morning!
This morning I was supposed to change the Evra conception patch but I forgot. So I'll change it tonight as soon as I get home, about 8 pm. Do I take any risks?

A delay of less than 24 hours in changing the Evra patch does not reduce the effectiveness of contraception. There is no need to use an additional method of contraception. The next EVRA patch should be applied as usual on the "Patch Change Day".
