Side effects of the drug do not include irritation of the skin and intimate areas. However, the possibility of a change in skin sensations, which is usually temporary, is described. The described symptoms can have various causes, so if they do not go away or get worse, I recommend consulting a doctor.

Theoretically, the summary of product characteristics of Rybelsus does not describe this type of side effects, but it is a relatively new drug and information about it is constantly being supplemented. Some patients have already described similar problems:

It is advisable to consult a doctor who has experience in treating patients with Rybelsus. If the problem worsens, you can discuss with your doctor the possibility of switching to an injectable drug (e.g. Ozempic), which is better tolerated by many people.
