According to the Valtricom package leaflet:
"Valtricom is used to treat high blood pressure in adult patients whose blood pressure is controlled while taking amlodipine, valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide, and for whom it may be beneficial to take one tablet containing all three substances."
Valtricom is a medicine for people with hypertension. The drug affects the blood vessels, causing them to relax.
If you have high blood pressure, your doctor may prescribe Valtricom. As a preventive measure, blood pressure-lowering drugs are not recommended for people with diabetes.
