It is always the case that some of the drugs used in the mouth end up in the stomach. In the case of Dentosept A and Gardimax, however, this is not relevant to the effectiveness of the contraceptive pills. These substances simply do not affect the effectiveness of hormonal contraception - they do not interact with each other.
