Can I use Provera if I have uterine fibroids?
Can I take Provera for period delay if I have fibroids? Can this cause any side effects in the form of ailments? I would like to add that I would like to postpone my period by about a week. (The gynaecologist prescribed orgametril for therapy anyway, but not for taking it 3 days before the expected menstrual period).

Provera can help manage symptoms such as heavy menstrual bleeding, which can be associated with fibroids. However, its use may also be associated with some risks, especially when it comes to affecting the growth of fibroids. If your prescribing doctor has not advised you to take Provera at the same time, do not do this on your own.
