Hello. He gives his mother 20 mg of escitil in the morning and 20 mg of deprexolet in the evening for about 7 months, for 2 days he gives her deprexolet only 10 mg at night and I think she feels worse. Please tell me if such a dose of reducing the tablet can have such an effect on malaise and if it is better to increase its dose to 20 mg again. I would also like to point out that since the treatment with these pills (deprexolet and sscitil) I have not seen any improvement, is there still hope?

After 7 months from the start of treatment, the effects of Escitil and
Deprexolet should already be clearly visible. If there is no improvement, it is advisable to check with the attending physician and assess the effectiveness of the treatment. There are other antidepressants, you may need to change your treatment procedure.
A sudden reduction in the dose of the drug may cause a decrease in well-being. Antidepressants should usually be discontinued gradually, although Deprexolet is generally well tolerated. The decision to change the dosage of medication should be made by a doctor.
