Can I use Maalox and Controloc with Pylera, Emanera and Enterol?
9.99 zł

Good morning, I have pilori helicobacter + esophageal reflux with esophagitis + hiatal hernia.
I was then given medication by a gastroenterologist: Pylera Emanera Enterol After 10 days join the zirid.

Another gastroenterologist added maalox contraloc.

Can this be mixed with medication from the first doctor and is it necessary? Now I'm worried about sleeping badly and burning in my stomach at night, I can't sleep. after starting to take PYLERA - in the morning my mouth is very sour and tastes like metal...

Was the other gastroenterologist informed about what medications you were already taking?

It is not recommended to use antacids such as Maloox together with Pylera because they may slow down the absorption of one of the ingredients in tetracycline.

There is no product called Contraloc - did you mean Controloc? If so, this medicine has the same effect as the one taken by Mrs. Emanera, i.e. it reduces the secretion of acid produced by the stomach. I don't see any reason to include Controloc in your treatment if you are already taking Emanera. This will not increase the effectiveness of your treatment, and may increase the risk of side effects.
