I advise against staying in the sun while you are taking Metypred. Metypred can have an adverse effect on the condition of the skin, causing a decrease in skin density, irritation, discoloration or rashes. These side effects may occur or worsen when exposed to UV rays. I encourage you to use sunscreen 50 when outdoors and to use a hat/baseball cap to cover your head and face.
