Yesterday the neurologist recommended me to take Elicea 5 mg to calm my nerves (1 time a day in the evening). Can I take these medications in such a combination? In the leaflet he writes not to connect them in parallel.

The use of escitalopram (the active ingredient in Elicea) in combination with metoprolol (the active ingredient in Beto ZK) may result in up to a twofold increase in metoprolol levels, which may lead to increased side effects.
In this situation, it is advisable to consult a doctor, as it may be necessary to adjust the dose of the drug or choose another sedative medication, e.g. with sertraline or citalopram (potentially lower risk of interactions):
