Can Siofor cause stomach pain? Can Siofor not work for me?

Hello, I have a question, who is familiar with Siofor XR. Got it because of my type 2 diabetes. Take 1 tablet once a day, but my sugar level just doesn't go down or doesn't really change.
(sugar level measured from 250-380) slowly this becomes frustrating 😢 I've been taking the pills for more than a month now

Unfortunately, I have a metformin intolerance (stomach pain) it is rather severe pain and cramps together.

I also got the xigduo combi, but unfortunately I got infection through it, these also did not go.
