Can Thiogamma affect my fertility? We are trying to have a baby, but due to unrelated ailments (elbow groove syndrome), the doctor recommended this medication to my wife and we are wondering if she can take it? The information in the leaflet is questionable.

Thiogamma is not recommended for use in women of childbearing potential not using contraception.
The preparation has not been tested for safety for foetal development in pregnant women. The decision to use the medicine should be made after consultation with a doctor who will assess whether the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to the potential foetus and whether the use of the medicine is necessary.
