Can I take Melatonin if my doctor has prescribed me Cloranxen?
Hello, lately I've been very irritable, nervous, and I'm having trouble sleeping. The cardiologist prescribed me cloranxen 5 mg 2 x a day for a month. Yesterday evening I took the drug for the first time and I was supposed to be calmer, but I still couldn't fall asleep. And in the morning I felt nervous? Can I take something with melatonin in the evening? And will the drug work better after a few days?

I suggest you take the medication for a few days and see if there is still no improvement. Melatonin may increase the effects of Cloranxen, so I encourage you to stick with one medication for now.
