I mistakenly used the medication rectally instead of vaginally - what should I do?

Hello, this is quite an unusual question, but I got vaginal globules from my gynecologist, I had never used them before and that's why I was very stressed, instead of in the vagina I placed the globule in the anus. In the morning, after eating breakfast, I immediately had to go to the bathroom, I suspect that the substance from the globule has been excreted, but I am very stressed about it

Subsequent globules should be used according to the recommendations of the doctor and the manufacturer of the preparation. Before using the medicine, it is worth reading the leaflet or asking your doctor and pharmacist at the pharmacy for details. If you do not experience any symptoms related to improper intake of the drug (e.g. irritation of the anal mucosa, burning, itching, bleeding, etc.), it is enough to observe your body for the next few days. If you notice any changes, I encourage you to seek medical advice.

In case of any doubts, it is possible to use a teleconsultation with a gynaecologist on our website - the service is available in the e-visit tab:
