Emanera interferes with the absorption of Orungal in a process described below:
"Absorption of itraconazole (Orungal) after oral administration is weaker if gastric acidity is reduced. Patients taking antacids (e.g. aluminium hydroxide) should use them at least 2 hours after administration of Orungal. In patients taking medicines that reduce secretion
hydrochloric acid (e.g. H2 receptor antagonists, proton pump inhibitors, e.g. Emanera), it is recommended that Orungal be administered as a cola capsule. "
