Hello, I had a gastroscopy, it showed me Helicobacter Pylori bacteria, the doctor prescribed medication for two weeks, then I did a stool test, it showed that I no longer have the bacteria, the stomach pain still persists. During the gastroscopy, when the doctor took a sample, did he take it to see if I have Helikcobacter Pylori bacteria, or would this sample show other diseases, e.g. stomach ulcers, etc.?

To @karolkawilczynska@gmail.com:
The absence of Helicobacter pylori bacteria in tests, despite persistent symptoms, may be due to several factors. First, tests for H. pylori can give false negative results, meaning that the bacterium may have been present but not detected. Second, symptoms may be caused by other conditions, such as duodenal ulcers, which can occur independently of H. pylori infection.
In the case of duodenal ulcers, hunger pains are characteristic, which occur a few hours after a meal and at night. It is also worth noting that treatment with PPIs (proton pump inhibitors) may not have the expected results in some patients.
I encourage you to continue your diagnostics and consult a gastroenterologist to discuss treatment options and possible additional tests.
Is it possible that the Helicobacter pylori bacterium did not come out in the gastroscopy, the doctors are already spreading their hands and I still have symptoms, currently I have a suspicion of duodenal ulcers. I was treated with PPIs but it didn't work, half a year ago I treated Helicobacter pylori with antibiotics, but unfortunately the symptoms still persist, I had a stool test after eradication, which also did not come out, and a gastroscopy which also showed no bacteria, then chronic gastritis was found

During gastroscopy, the condition of the esophagus, stomach and descending part of the duodenum can be assessed. The test also makes it possible to take tissue samples for histopathological examinations (enabling, for example, the detection of inflammatory or cancerous changes), to check for the presence of Helicobacter Pylori bacteria and to perform minor procedures such as stopping bleeding or removing polyps. It may be worth prolonging the treatment with a proton pump inhibitor drug, e.g. Pantoprazole, Controloc, PPI.
