Nebivolol (the active ingredient in Nedal) is a beta-blocker medicine that is mainly used to treat high blood pressure and heart disease. It is not widely known that nebivolol directly causes a decrease in potassium levels in the body, however, beta-blockers, including nebivolol, can affect various aspects of electrolyte balance and metabolic function. In some cases, the use of beta-blockers may be associated with some changes in electrolyte balance, if you notice such changes in yourself, you can drink electrolytes, for example.
