Hello, I have been in the prediabetes range for 17 years (HbA1c = 6.0%), did not take any medication until a week ago. I have been taking Eliquis for atrial fibrillation for a week, the fasting blood sugar level has jumped from 90-95mg/dl to 110-118mg/dl.

Eliquis can be used in people with diabetes, moreover, this drug is indicated for this group of patients. It does not raise blood sugar levels.
Caution should be exercised when combining Eliquis and Oxycardil - combining these medicines may increase the anticoagulant effect of apixaban, increasing the risk of bleeding and even haemorrhage. If you experience unusual bleeding (e.g. from the nose), subcutaneous hematomas, tarry faeces or other worrying symptoms, consult a doctor.
