Is 4000 IU the right dose of Neoparin?

I have my leg in a cast (ankle sprain+triple ankle fracture of the lower leg) and I use Neoparin 40mg anticoagulant injections once a day after 1 dose, and I have varicose veins in my lower extremities, is this a sufficient dose? I would also like to add that I take Rostil MAX 500 mg once a day for 1 tablet.

The dose of Neoparin is chosen by your doctor based on your condition. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, the dose of Neoparin for the prevention of venous thromboembolism in surgical patients in the
moderate and high risk can be estimated based on a validated risk stratification model, which is as follows: "In patients at moderate risk of venous thromboembolism, the recommended dose of enoxaparin sodium is 2000 IU (20 mg) once daily by subcutaneous injection (SC). In patients at high risk of venous thromboembolism, the recommended dose of enoxaparin sodium is 4000 IU (40 mg) once daily by subcutaneous injection." The dose selection is described in more detail at the link below: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/92384/neoparin-iniekcja/charakterystyka-produktu/227631 If you have any doubts about the prescribed dose of Neoparin, please consult the doctor who prescribed the medicine.
