Do you follow the medication Adaster Can you be depressed?
Are there any known cases of severe depression after taking Adaster 5mg? It's written on the leaflet as a side effect and I wonder if my dad was depressed by this drug

There is a potential link between the use of finasteride (contained in Adaster) and the occurrence of depression in some people. Research suggests that finasteride may affect neurosteroid levels in the brain, which in turn may affect the mental well-being of some people. However, not all patients using finasteride experience side effects, and for many people, the drug is well tolerated.
