Is it possible to take Pramolan on an ad hoc basis when discontinuing Sympramol?

Hello
For 3 months I took sympramol at a dose of 100 mg per night. Now I'm slowly discontinuing this drug, i.e. for two weeks I was taking 50 mg, now for two days 25 mg. And I'm dizzy and kind of blurred in my vision. Could these be withdrawal symptoms? The doctor prescribed me pramol instead of sympramol, which I am to take only temporarily. Only from what I've read on the net, both drugs are their equivalents. So is the doctor right?

Sympramol and Pramolan are the same medicines. It doesn't seem like a good idea to use Pramolan on an ad hoc basis when you stop taking Sympramol.
It is worth consulting another doctor, e.g. here:

The symptoms you mention may be related to discontinuation of the drug. All the more reason to consult your doctor.
