Can I take seronil instead of flouxetine?
I was prescribed both seronil and fluoxetine as the antidepressants needed for me to take. My dosage was 20 my of fluoxetine and 10 mg of seronil. Unfortunately though, I have run out of fluoxetine and drugstores arent open on the weekends here. I was told by my doctor that flouxetine and seronil were basically the same thing if not very similar, so I was wondering if It would be safe to take 30 mg of seronil instead of fluoxetine.

Seronil contains fluoxetine, which is a substitute for these medicines. You can read more about what drug substitutes are here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czym-sa-zamienniki-lekow
Two medicines containing the same active substance should not be used at the same time. See your doctor and review your treatment regimen.
Fluoxetine and seronil are the same drug. The main ingredient in seronil is fluoxetine
