You should limit your intake of dairy products while you are taking Xyvelam. Administration should take place at least one hour before or two hours after a meal containing dairy. Dairy reduces the absorption of the drug, causing a decrease in the level of the drug in your blood, so you may not feel any improvement in your condition.
