Hello, I'm taking psychiatric medication and recently I've been treated for 3 months with PPIs and Prokit. I can feel the mental deterioration in this combination. I have a question, can reflux be treated without these medications, e.g. a constant reflux diet? I can't see myself on these drugs all my life. Secondly, how to replace coffee and green tea so that it stimulates and does not exacerbate reflux?

Please provide the names of the medications prescribed from the psychiatrist.
It is important to inform your doctor about all the medications you are taking at each visit. I'm assuming that psychiatric medications and reflux medications were prescribed by two different doctors. Perhaps this drug combination is inappropriate due to the fact that the preparations interact with each other.
In order for us to check this, it needs the names of all the medications that are being taken.
At the same time, I advise you to report your symptoms to your doctor, who will decide to change the medication to another one or change the dosage.
If it is not possible to contact your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

Of course, a diet can do a lot and it can bring very good results without the need for pharmacotherapy. At the same time, this will eliminate the problem of drug interactions. For this purpose, I recommend consulting a dietician.
