Nebilet HCT and Tizanor are prescription medicines and can be used together if they have been prescribed by doctors who have been informed about all the preparations they are taking.
According to the Summary of Product Characteristics "Concomitant use of tizanidine and antihypertensive agents, including diuretics, may very rarely induce hypotension and bradycardia. Hypertension and rebound tachycardia have been observed in some patients following abrupt discontinuation of tizanidine concomitant with antihypertensive agents. In extreme cases, rebound hypertension can lead to stroke." Therefore, it is important that people suffering from hypertension and taking antihypertensive drugs exercise caution when using Tizanor and check their blood pressure regularly, and report any abnormalities to their doctor.
