I'm taking Diaprel 2 tabl. 30 mg at night, sugar in the morning 140-150, after lunch 190 - 250. I also took metformine, but due to side effects it was turned away. Wouldn't it be better to take 1 tabl. Diaprel in the morning and 1 in the evening.
Type 2 diabetes mellitus treated for 8 months.
I have a 60 cat.

Please consult your doctor. Poorly controlled blood glucose can have serious effects on your health. On your own, please do not modify the dosage of medications.
As with other hypoglycaemic medicines, the dose should be adjusted individually according to the patient's metabolic response (blood glucose, HbA1c).
According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, the recommended daily dose is one to four tablets (maximum 120 mg), taken orally as a single dose with breakfast. The dose depends on how your body responds to treatment.
To sum up, please consult your doctor.
