Can you use Metmin for a runny nose with a cold?

Hello, I have a cold and I have a runny nose and the doctor prescribed metmin some time ago, can I use it for a runny nose, or is it better to stop and wait for the runny nose to pass and use something else for the runny nose?

Metmin can be used for a runny nose caused by an infection.

The drug is indicated for the treatment of inflammation of the nasal mucosa. Please note, however, that the shelf life after the first opening of the bottle is 2 months.

In addition, over-the-counter medications and supplements for sinusitis can be used.
