Hi, I've been taking birth control pills for over a year and yesterday I started another new blister but after an hour of taking it I vomited heavily. What does this mean?

Vomiting can have many causes. You may have taken the pill on an empty stomach or you may be developing an infection accompanied by vomiting.
If the situation is a one-off, there is no need to worry. If vomiting also occurs with subsequent pills, consult a gynaecologist, it may be necessary to change the contraceptive.
Since vomiting may have reduced the effectiveness of contraception, you should take an extra tablet on this day. More here:
