Can the contents of the Pylera capsule be poured out?
Hello, the gastroenterologist prescribed me pylere capsules, they are big enough, I am not able to swallow them, I will suffocate, I have this problem since forever, the doctor said that I should spill it and then swallow it if I can't do it.. I was diagnosed with helicobacter.

According to the manufacturer's information: "do not open the capsules, swallow them whole".
The capsule is designed to reach the stomach and then to the intestines and release the substances that are to be absorbed there. By opening the capsules and swallowing only their contents, we lead to a situation where some of the active substance settles in the throat and esophagus for some time. It is also exposed to hydrochloric acid from the stomach and digestive enzymes for longer. It follows that such a procedure may affect the absorption and effective action of the preparation.
