Can Daktarin Oral Gel be combined with Orungal? I was prescribed these two medications at the same time by an ENT specialist, he did not indicate not to swallow Dactarin... Doesn't it overlap, doesn't it interact?

Daktarin Oral gel and Orungal can be used together if they have been prescribed by a doctor who has been informed of all the medicines used.
Miconazole (the active substance in Daktarin oral gel) may inhibit the metabolism of medicinal products mediated by CYP3A4 isoenzymes, such as Orungal. Caution should be exercised when using the preparations at the same time, due to the possibility of increasing the risk of side effects. In order to reduce the risk of interactions, it is best to use the preparations with min. 2h time interval.
