As a general rule, no medication should be combined with alcohol. Rupatadine is an antihistamine used to treat allergies. Alcohol has the potential to increase the effects of certain medications, including antihistamines, by affecting your ability to concentrate and coordinate. In addition, both rupatadine and alcohol can affect the nervous system, which can increase the risk of side effects. I advise against the combination of the drug with alcohol.
