Is it better to add Berodual or Ventolin to Aurodisc for a dry cough with an infection?

I suffer from asthma and I take Aurodisc twice a day. If I have a cold, where there is a severe dry cough that does not allow me to sleep, can I nebulize with Berodual? Is it better to use Ventolin?

Short-term use of a combination of Aurodisc and Berodual is acceptable. However, it is important to avoid combining these two drugs chronically, as doing so increases the risk of losing excess potassium from the body - which can result in, m.in arrhythmia. Similar effects are to be expected when chronically combining Aurodisc and Ventolin.

In stopping coughing fits, Ventolin will be a better option. However, all of these medications are only available with a prescription, so their use should be decided by your doctor. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
