Can the use of Izotek affect ALT results?

Good day.Can alt be increased during treatment with isoedema.Before treatment it was 23,in the 6th week of treatment - 53?Will the indicators return to normal after the end of treatment.Is it necessary to continue treatment with such alt values?

At the moment, there is no reason to worry. Usually, these values return to normal after the end of treatment. Nevertheless, you should regularly perform tests in this direction and if your liver parameters deviate more and more from the norm, consult a doctor.

According to the manufacturer:

'Liver enzymes should be monitored prior to treatment, 1 month after initiation of treatment and every 3 months thereafter, unless more frequent monitoring is necessary. Transient and reversible transaminase elevations have been reported. In many cases, these values were within the normal range and returned to baseline during treatment. However, if there is a sustained and clinically significant transaminase elevation, dose reduction or discontinuation of isotretinoin therapy should be considered."
