Alcohol can also irritate the stomach and increase the risk of damage to the stomach lining. Combined, they have the potential to increase this risk. People who have stomach problems, such as peptic ulcers or bleeding, should be especially careful and avoid alcohol while using meloxicam. If you don't have such problems - drinking one beer in the evening shouldn't be risky.
