Hello. On Monday I'm booked with a doctor, but today I did some tests and I got nervous. Crp I have 7.71 or should I be concerned because the norm is up to 5. I would like to add that I suffer from insulin resistance and hypertension and I struggle with my weight all the time.

CRP (C-reactive protein) is a marker of inflammation in the body. A result of 7.71 mg/l may indicate the presence of inflammation, but its value is not significant. It may be related to previous inflammation in the body or to other factors such as insulin resistance or hypertension.
