Good morning.
A few years ago, I had my uterus removed. I have light spotting every month, but that's normal.
However, from time to time I have very heavy bleeding including clots.
I've been taking Asentra 50 mg and Ketrel 25 mg for a few weeks now. Can these medications affect the abundance of bleeding?

According to currently available information, sporadic haemorrhages and platelet abnormalities which may lead to bleeding have been reported rarely (may affect up to 1 in 1000 patients but may affect more than 1 in 10,000) while taking Asentra. However, it is not possible to clearly determine, without consulting a doctor, whether the heavy bleeding you are experiencing is related to the medications you are taking, or whether it is caused by the procedure.
Heavy bleeding can be life-threatening, so it's best to report it to your doctor.
