Dad started antibiotic therapy with Cipronex 500 for urinary tract infections and the fight against the bacterium klebsiella oxytoca. I also bought my dad żuravit, but I'm not sure if I can give it to my dad, because in an article on medonet I read that it should not be combined with anticoagulants, because it can cause hemorrhage, and dad regularly takes areplex, acard, espiro, and vivacor after a heart attack. Can I ask for elaboration on this? Thanks.

Due to the potential risk of interaction of the cranberry extract contained in Żuravit with Acard and Areplex, and the lack of need for its use (Cipronex alone should be sufficient to deal with the infection), I would not include Żuravit in the therapy. Its use may increase the risk of bleeding and affect the effectiveness of Acard.
